Once a family requests a sitter or completes the online registration form, the agency will contact you to answer any questions you may have.
Your family will be matched with a sitter based on their experience with your child(ren)’s ages, your location, and their availability. The agency does keep track of which sitters you have met so that you may request your favorites again!
Pinch Sitters has a detailed application process to ensure that only experienced and trustworthy babysitters work with us. Unlike some of the online-only agencies, all Pinch Sitters have at least 3 years experience and at least 2 recent childcare references. All Pinch Sitters have their identity, employment and education verified and are personally interviewed. Each sitter submits to a full reference, criminal/sexual predator, and social check. Further, each sitter undergoes an extensive orientation.
There are no separate booking or membership fees to register with the agency or to request a sitter.
The office is open Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. We do our best to respond to emails from registered families during off-hours to try to assist with last minute requests.
